Shotcrete

Bisley have been suppliers of raw materials to the Construction industry for over three decades.

Shotcrete is today an all-inclusive term that describes spraying concrete or mortar with either a dry or wet mix process. Shotcrete emerged as the only acceptable industry term to correctly describe “pneumatically applied concrete” – either the wet or dry process.

Sprayed concrete is reinforced by conventional steel rods, steel mesh, and/or fibers. Fiber reinforcement (steel or synthetic) is also used for stabilisation in applications such as slopes or tunneling.

For concrete and shotcrete, Bisley offers supplementary cementitious materials, accelerators, fibers and functional fillers. Additionally a broad suite of materials is supplied to the concrete admixture industry as “building blocks” for their finished products.
