Bisley Xeolith® Lithium Carbonate
Bisley Xeolith® in Cementitious Systems
Xeolith lithium carbonate is a necessary catalyst used to accelerate ternary based rapid setting cementitious materials. When used with High Alumina Cement (HAC) or Calcium Sulphoaluminate (CSA) based binders, it increases the early strength and hardening of the material while also assisting in the long-term strength development of the system. Due to the particle size and narrow particle size distribution, Xeolith Lithium Carbonate helps assure controllable, uniform and predictable rates of reaction.
Xeolith lithium carbonate is commonly used in rapid setting tile adhesives, grouts, self-leveling compounds, and other rapid setting drymix mortars. As it helps building materials harden faster, it then saves the end user construction costs and time.
