Blast Furnace Slag
Blast furnace slag is a granular product that is made by queching molten iron slag with water. Upon its addition to concrete it reduces the heat of hydration, reduces concrete permeability and improves the durability and resistance. The early age strength of slag blends is slower than straight cement however strength development after 28 days is improved.
