Calcined Petroleum Coke (CPC)

CPC is the major constituent used in the manufacture of Anodes, gradually consumed in the Pots over a 3-week period. The Anodes are manufactured on-site at most smelters in their Anode Baking Furnaces.

Bisley has had a long history in the supply of CPC to all the Australian smelters. We source the Coke from various locations, depending on the specification required.

CPC has also been supplied into the Ferrous Foundry industry as Recarburiser and into the Mineral Sands Ilmenite to Rutile production process.

The specifications called for are very different across these various applications, however Bisley has supplied material into all of the nominated industries.
