Graphite Coatings for Anode Stubs

Graphite, as a suspended solution, is applied to Anode Stubs, to create a “plane of weakness” between the stub steel, and the cast iron, to facilitate easy removal of the cast iron thimble and the consumed anode stub from the Spider.
