Poly Phosphonic Superplasticisers
New generation poly-phosphonic superplasticisers may be blended with PNS and PCE based superplasticisers, imparting both slump retention and resilience to the mix.
Bisley supplies Supla P 20 and Supla P 161 poly-phosphonic superplasticisers. These have been specifically developed to overcome some of the drawbacks of competing materials.
Supla products are characterised by high effectiveness in their water reducing performance, the ability to tailor slump retention times ( from extremely long to moderate depending on the specific product ), comparably low setting and hardening retardation, good compatibility with cements of different types and origins, and resilience of the mix to uncontrolled variations of superplasticiser dosage, water content or cement batch.
SUPLA P 20 is characterised by:
- High dispersing efficiency. The suggested dosage of these products is between 0,15% and 0,30% by weight over cement as dry matter, i.e. between 0,5% and 1% of the product as it is.
- High workability retention, variable between 2 and 8 hours according to the product.
- Resilience and consistency of performance with cement variations.
- Optimal rheologic properties of the mix in terms of consistency and bleeding resistance. In particular SUPLA P 20 imparts to the mix an extremely long workability retention, up to 8 hours with high casting temperatures, without impairing the development of mechanical strength at 1 day.
It is particularly suited to realise massive castings, where there is the need to avoid cold joints, with superfluid or self- compacting consistency.
SUPLA P 161 is characterised by:
- High dispersing efficiency. The suggested dosage of these products is between 0,15% and 0,30% by weight over cement as dry matter, i.e. between 0,5% and 1% of the product as it is.
- High workability retention, variable between 2 and 8 hours according to the product.
- Robustness and constancy of performances with cement variations.
- Optimal rheologic properties of the mix in terms of consistency and bleeding resistance. In particular SUPLA 161 imparts to the mix a long workability retention, up to 4 hours with high casting temperatures, without impairing the development of mechanical strength at 1 day. It is particularly suited to realise massive casting in hot climates, where there is the need to avoid cold joints, with superfluid or self- compacting consistency.
