Expanded Glass Spheres
Extrema-spheres
Expanded glass spheres – Bisley Extrema-spheres are small porous granules made of a white inorganic thermal insulating material which comes from recycled glass. They are fire-resistant/non-combustable, moisture resistant, durable, chemically and biologically stable and have a low-thermal conductivity coefficient. They allow for construction in difficult conditions (e.g. on weak soil and in extreme weather changes), construction for thin and non-standard structures, 30% lower heating costs, noise insulation and have no adverse health impacts.
Extrema-spheres are widely used in many applications due to the extensive range of grain sizes. They are used in construction as a loose thermal insulating material, specifically for plasters and dry mixtures, lightweight concrete, lightweight panels, polymer concrete, can assist with achieving higher film builds and 3D printing.
