Hollow Borosilicate Glass Microspheres

Hollow Borosilicate Glass Microspheres are low density glass microspheres made from soda-lime-borosilicate glass with thin walls (1 – 3.5 μm), there are four grades available each with a varying density. Glass beads have a high strength-to-density ratio, decreasing density and increasing buoyancy of a material making it a cost effective and water-resistant additive for many different applications. The beads have high crush strength, pressure resistance, excellent thermal insulation properties, are non-toxic and non-hazardous.
