Stannic Oxide
Stannic oxide, also known as tin(IV) oxide, is a diamagnetic and amphoteric solid that is important in a variety of industries including polishing and coating. Some its uses include:
- Ceramic colours and glazes, electronic components, friction materials / brake pads and polishing of granite and marble.
- Glass refining and bubble reduction.
- Anti-static coatings.
- Infrared reflective and absorptive materials.
